Tulip Poplar Donor Society

Members of Nashville Tree Foundation’s Tulip Poplar Donor Society are our most dedicated group of supporters and play an invaluable role in the health, growth and preservation of our city’s tree canopy. Your generous gifts provide a foundation of support that afford us the ability to work all throughout our community planting trees, preserving our collective canopy, bringing green coverage to underserved areas throughout Davidson County, and fighting to ensure that our city is focused on green-preservation policies. 

Since 1986 and as a gift-based not-for-profit, Nashville Tree Foundation has relied on your support to do the daily work necessary for our city’s trees. And it’s because of your extraordinary commitment and support that we are able to forward our mission to plant, preserve and protect our city’s trees.

When you become a member of the Tulip Poplar Donor Society, you join a compassionate, charitable community that has served Nashville since 1986. By making a yearly donation of $1,000 or more, your generous contribution will be directed towards the Nashville Tree Foundation's Annual Giving Fund, which addresses our most pressing needs (and is tax deductible as allowed by federal law).

 

Exclusive Benefits

As a valued member of the Tulip Poplar Donor Society, you’ll enjoy the following benefits:

  • At minimum, your support will help the Nashville Tree Foundation plant and care for five (5) 15-gallon trees in Nashville.

  • Your name will be prominently featured on the Nashville Tree Foundation's website as a Tulip Poplar  Society member

  • Your name will be included in the Nashville Tree Foundation's annual report as a distinguished Tulip Poplar Society member

  • You will receive invitations to exclusive tree tours, available only to Tulip Poplar Society members, two times a year.

Exclusive Tree Tours 

Members of the Tulip Poplar Society are able to gather twice a year for fun and immersive tree tour experiences at unique locations. Led by NTF tree experts, these casual outings offer a chance to identify tree varieties, engage with trees and fellow enthusiasts, and enjoy captivating facts and stories in each other's company. (Please note that these tours will be conducted in locations with accessible terrain.)

Your gift to Nashville Tree Foundation at the Tulip Poplar Donor Society level is accepted as a one-time donation, or through a monthly commitment.
