Replant Madison with Kroger and Arbor Day Foundation

You can help build back Madison’s tree canopy — adopt a tree from Nashville Tree Foundation!

Storms are, undeniably, one of the leading challenges to maintaining tree coverage and protecting our strongest, oldest trees. The recent tornado in Madison, Tennessee was no exception, and the city is faced with a significant number of downed or damaged trees.

Made possible by partnership with Kroger and Arbor Day Foundation, we're doing our part to restore the canopy loss by giving away 375 1-gallon trees to Madison residents. Join us on Tuesday, April 30 at our second Tree Adoption Event at Amqui Station to give one of our little saplings a forever home and to rebuild a bigger, more resilient tree canopy.

Click below to view the available species, and reserve your tree in advance!

When? Tuesday, April 30th, 5-7pm

Where? Amqui Station & Visitors Center: 303 Madison Station Blvd, Madison, TN 37115

What’s the deal? Come visit our “sapling forest” and bring home a new, 1-gallon tree. Our team of staff and volunteers will be on site to answer questions about the species.

Interested in volunteering? We’re looking for a few “tree people” to offer species selection advice and manage the traffic flow. Click here to sign up for a volunteer shift.

Planting a Greener Nashville

Nashville Tree Foundation is in full swing for our active planting season which runs September through April. Please consider volunteering at one of our events or support our efforts to make Nashville a greener, healthier city for all!

Founded in 1986, the Nashville Tree Foundation works to preserve and enhance Nashville’s urban forests by planting trees in urban areas, identifying the oldest and largest trees in Davidson County, and educating the public about the value of trees.
