We had a blast Saturday getting our trees and talking with the volunteers. Since we had trees being planted on both sides of us, we had quite a crew and everybody out on a beautiful day! Also, we overheard one of the volunteers talking about a shoe drive she was involved in; our 7-year-old had just sorted through her old shoes the night before, so she brought out a whole bagful for her to take to that drive. –Brian Mansfield

This service project was perfect. Great cause. Great weather. And extremely well organized.The Notre Dame Club of Nashville had about 10 volunteers for the event. The instructions were clear. The tree locations were clearly marked. The homeowners seemed extremely pleased. And the work was challenging but manageable. I would not have changed a thing.
